About Us

We Are Building Connections That Strengthen Generations

Building Bridges Between Generations

The FLAMEG Inter-Generational Care Initiative (FIGCI) is a non-profit, non-political, community-driven organisation based in Cross River State, Nigeria.

FIGCI was founded to address two of the most overlooked social challenges facing communities across Nigeria and many parts of the world: the growing isolation and digital exclusion of elderly citizens, and the widening skills, mentorship and opportunity gap facing young people.

Rather than treating these as separate challenges, FIGCI brings older and younger generations together within the care economy, creating structured opportunities where each group provides what the other needs most.

The Foundation of Our Work

Our vision, mission, and core values shape every connection we foster, every community we serve, and every impact we create.

Our Vision

A world whole every generation is continously connected, valued, and actively contributing to the well-being of the other in a sustainable, just and care-driven environment.

Our Mission

To build a structured, sustainable intergenerational support system where senior citizens and youths exchange mentorship, strengthen wellbeing, and restore the social fabric of communities.
